The system of modular storage crates to store water underground are very popular by designers because of thier flexibility to adapt to different shapes to suite the location, these can be made to store floodwaters to be controlled at its outfall by a device such as a hydro break

These can be layed as individual runs of pipe or laid in parallel to create a larger bank of pipes

This is a bespoke outfall from an open attenuation pond the walls were cast in situ and the debris screen was made by our specialist fabricator to meet the demands of the designer
Perforated concrete chambers are set on a concrete base then surrounded with granular aggregate and capped off with a reinforced concrete slab, producing a soak away system under the highway to adoptable standards.
Permeable surfaces such as block paving can be an effective way to reduce surface water run off, as with other systems the water is stored underground and released at a rate that does not significantly surcharge the system to which it outfalls
